Dorothea Lange Exhibition.

Unit 5 1.1

Just a very, very quick heads up that The Barbican, London, is – drumroll – hosting the first UK retrospective of American documentary photographer Dorothea Lange (1895-1965) and first major UK solo exhibition in a public gallery of British contemporary photographer Vanessa Winship. Dates are 22 June – 2 September.

I saw some of Lange’s work at A Radical Eye: The Tate’s exhibition of Elton John’s insane collection of Modernist photography. I can’t wait to see more of it at close hand and discover Winship for the first time.
