Second attempt at the model-shoot element of this term’s project. Much happier with the outcome although will need to do some more editing as these appear quite a bit darker than on my iMac. I did turn the screen brightness down a bit but will need to lower it even more in order to get images ready for printing. Shot using a softbox at close range (coming in from camera left) and a black background.
A few things escaped my notice until after the event – a couple of stray hairs that would have to be photoshopped out if this was the real deal and a pesky earring that turned in on itself at the start of the shoot but, fortunately, still looked ok. I paid attention to detail at the start when I was styling Anna, but stopped looking for the “little things” as the shoot progressed. My bad.
Massive thanks, once again, to my classmate, Anna, for being the star of the show. She photographs really well and is great fun to work with, which made my job much easier.
